We would like to hereby request your support in order to sustain Singles Iftar for the remainder of the month.
2. Community Iftar
There will also be Community Iftar held at the Masjid every Saturday where we come together as a community to break our fast and share a meal. As has been the case in the past, the responsibility of conducting Community Iftar's is divided among different communities. The Afghan/Bangla/Indo/Pak Community Iftar will be on June 20th (The 1st Saturday of Ramadan). The Arab Community Iftar will be on June 27th (The 2nd Saturday of Ramadan). For that purpose, we seek your assistance and support in terms of preparation of dishes. If you would like to donate towards the cost of Community Iftars, we anticipate the cost of one Community Iftar to be ~$750 (Community Iftar Donation).
The 3rd Community Iftar will be our Masjid’s annual fundraising event on July 4th. The 4th Community Iftar on July 11th will a fundraising event hosted by the Syrian Sunrise Foundation scheduled to take place at the YMCA downtown Lafayette. We seek your support and assistance in both events.

Also, children that are in the babysitting area will stay there and parents physically take them right after Taraweeh. Only, apple juice and a snack will be provided. If you like, you may bring a pillow and a small blanket in which they must be taken back home each night.
